Editing is the process in which we collected all of the filmed videos and put it together to create one final piece.

 

We started by passing all of the videos to Sophie´s computer. Afterwards, she shared the videos with the rest of the team. We then decided to separate the footage into two separate folders, them being if they were usable for the Swede and one for those that were not. The criteria to separate them was if the angles were right ¡, if the scenes we wanted to portray were there and if the action was well acted.  We, in addition, also created a separate folder for the videos that were destined into the blog. However, as we were making this blog we realised that nearly all of the footage for the blog did not have audio therefore we were unable to include it here.

 

We used a program called iMovie, which is already installed in the mac, so that way, we did not have to purchase anything.  This made the process of editing simpler as all of us have MAC and Apple products, therefore we could easily export the editing from one computer to the other without having to worry about the editing program.

 

Mara was on charge of putting all the clips in chronological order and later editing the timing so that it would create  the desirable timeline and story. Afterwards, Isabella was the one in charge of adding the sound effect and dialogue to the Swede. In addition, later in post production we decided to add some poor rain effects to make it more funny and entertaining , this being due to the fact that you can clearly see that it is not actually raining.
